Reaching the Summit Is Right Around the Corner

on

Summit Park, a mile and a half away from the UC Blue Ash campus, is celebrating five years of operation in this community. This versatile plot of land, which is named after the fact that it is one of the highest points in Hamilton County, serves many purposes for the community, including our college. UC Blue Ash students will love the plentiful benches and swings that provide a peaceful spot for doing homework. The Great Lawn, right in the center of the bustling park, is the ideal place to lay down a picnic blanket, enjoy a meal with friends, or read a book.

There are four restaurants available to visitors:

  • Senate—which serves gourmet hot dogs, a local favorite for many
  • Brown Dog Café—with an exciting menu and fresh ingredients
  • Tahona Kitchen + Bar—where you can enjoy Mexican street food
  • Nanny Belle’s—serves ice cream, perfect for a hot day

Although UC Blue Ash does not have its own recreational center, students can take advantage of all the exciting options that Summit Park offers them, free of charge. Whether they want to get a bite, study outdoors, exercise, or enjoy the sights on top of the 150’ observation tower, this area of Blue Ash strives to accommodate everyone. The excitement doesn’t stop here either. Summit Park is going through major renovations, and by spring 2020, Neighborhoods at Summit Park will be complete. These gorgeous, brand-new buildings will provide space for offices, restaurants, small businesses, and even residential living. This local gem conveniently located near UC Blue Ash is a beloved spot for students to enjoy!
